For DC sound when stationary or at low speeds requires a 3.6v battery. Will recharge NiMH cordless phone or similar batteries automatically while running. Without a battery, works when track voltage exceeds 6 volts.
For DCC sound, connects to horn function output, lighting output and motor output.
Horn can be triggered by reed switch and trackside magnets. Also sounds automatically when starting from rest.
