MyLocoSound soundcards are not an inflexible recording of real locomotives. They deliver up to one watt of synthesised sound which is highly adjustable to represent a variety of locomotives, from small railcars and industrial locos up to heavy, mainline freight and express passenger locos

You can watch and listen to the sound card in YouTube by clicking on the links below. Remember that the sound quality may be limited by the loudspeakers on your computer and that the sound you hear is a sample which you can adjust.

British Diesel  This video shows an Accucraft Baguley Drewry locomotive which has been converted to battery power using RCS radio control. The speaker was taken from an iPod external speaker unit. The black bonnet top was made removable to give easy access to the sound card controls. The horn can be switched from single to two tone.

American Diesel This video demonstrates the bell which can be switched on. It is set to start ringing when the loco moves off and to continue until the loco accelerates away.
