The quick and easy way to add sound to your DCC layout. MyLocoSound and its retailers can supply vans in which a sound decoder and speaker is installed and ready to run. To experience sound on your layout, all you then have to do is:
- Change the address of the van from the default of 3 to the address of the steam loco you wish to run.
- Place the van on the track and couple it to the loco.
- Run the train and familiarise yourself with the chuff, whistle, safety valve, guards whistle and lights.
- Change the CVs as necessary to set the chuff and the whistle to match the particular loco.
